STATEMENT

Making drawings, paintings, images, films & writing text, Christoffer's portayals rises with the paramount feeling of existing in mind. No second in life stays. When the mind wanders away, time pauses with certainty. Drawing images digitally and also traditionally using variety of paint, such as watercolor, acrylic, oil, pencil, pen and ink.

Imagining the stillness in life, through visualization of porcelain sculptures, humans in contradictory moments, wide landscapes and so on. Cause of this is the fragility of the soul. The feeling of self. The feeling of being with purpose and\or without purpose, direction or guidance. Trying to find the layers of consciousness that lies hidden within.

Drawing porcelain as a display of stillness in everyday subjects. Visioning the fragility of the subject and everything that is within its vicinity. Fragile as nothing else is. The items are a way of subjectifying the exposed models. Projecting the psychological effects of vulnerability the material of porcelain brings forth. Currently working with the destruction, composite and re-composite of figurative models, visualizing the different forms and state it reveals.
